Project Description
The partners selected the topic “cultural habits” (festivities, dances, handicrafts, ) because these are related to everyday life, they reflect the way of life in a country and give explanations and answers for the way of thinking and the behaviour of inhabitants in certain situations or in certain contexts.
Traditions and their observance rule years and months. They have a direct impact on individuals and on the rythm of their life. They build a life experience shared by everyone. They are present everywhere and offer a lot of possibilities to exchange experiences and opinions, to communicate but also to learn about ourselves and the others.
Every culture and country has cultural events and traditions like celebrations, festivities, dances, foods, handicrafts…. These events bring people together around important themes of their culture and it is an interesting way of spreading informal learning about culture, traditions, citizenship, national and local festivities and more.
